RN Canada is led by a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) serving Turkish-speaking business owners in Toronto — in Turkish and in English. We serve Toronto remotely from our Edmonton head office; we do not have a Toronto office. Founder Ozgur Duymaz holds the CPA (Canada) designation and is a member of CPA Canada, along with the ACCA (UK) and CMA (US) designations and a Ph.D. in accounting and finance. This page is upfront about how a remote CPA engagement works and why the credential matters.
What the CPA designation means, delivered remotely
CPA — Chartered Professional Accountant — is Canada's unified professional accounting designation, governed by CPA Canada and the provincial CPA bodies. A CPA is examined and regulated to a national standard and bound by a professional code of ethics. For a Toronto owner, that means your financial statements and assurance work are prepared by someone a bank, the CRA, or an investor will rely on — and who is accountable for the accounting judgement behind them.
Let's be clear on the honest point first: RN Canada has no office in Toronto. Our offices are in Edmonton and Vancouver, and we serve Toronto and the rest of Ontario entirely online. A CPA engagement — a compilation, a review, a T2 filing, or CRA representation — is performed to the same professional standard remotely as it would be in person. Nothing about the credential or the assurance level depends on being in the same city.
Credential-grade work RN Canada provides for Toronto
- Review and compilation engagements — a compilation (Notice to Reader) for internal and tax use, or a review engagement for the limited assurance an Ontario lender often requires. See review & compilation engagements.
- Audit and assurance support — preparing your records and working papers so an assurance engagement runs cleanly. See audit & assurance.
- Corporate and personal tax — federal T2 corporate returns, Ontario filings, and personal T1s, prepared and explained in Turkish, with CRA representation where needed. See tax return preparation.
Toronto's 2026 tax context, handled to CPA standards
Ontario uses a single 13% HST in 2026 — the 5% federal and 8% provincial portions combined into one tax you charge and remit. On corporate income, Ontario's small-business rate is 3.2%, a 12.2% combined rate with the federal 9% on the first $500,000 of active business income. Ontario also levies an Employer Health Tax, with employers exempt on the first $1,000,000 of payroll. These feed directly into the statements a CPA prepares and the judgement behind your filings.

Work with us in Turkish or English
Even though the engagement is fully remote, you keep the language advantage. Toronto owners can run a review engagement, an assurance file, or a CRA matter in Turkish, English, or both. The work stays prepared to Canadian CPA standards regardless of language and regardless of distance; the Turkish option only removes the gap between what you mean and what gets filed.
How we work with Toronto clients
We serve Toronto and the rest of Ontario remotely from our Edmonton head office (10804 181 St NW #201, T5S 1K4), with a second office in Vancouver. There is no Toronto office, and we will not pretend otherwise — but the remote CPA engagement is complete, secure, and held to full professional standards.

Frequently asked questions
Is your founder a licensed Canadian CPA? Yes. Founder Ozgur Duymaz holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in Canada and is a member of CPA Canada, plus the ACCA (UK) and CMA (US) designations and a Ph.D. in accounting and finance. For a Toronto business, that means your compilation, review, and T2 corporate filings are prepared by a credentialed professional bound by CPA Canada's standards and code of ethics.
Do you have a CPA office in Toronto? No. We do not have a Toronto office. Our offices are in Edmonton (head office) and Vancouver, and we serve Toronto and the rest of Ontario remotely through secure cloud accounting and video meetings. A CPA engagement runs the same way remotely — the professional standard of a review, compilation, or T2 filing does not depend on being in the same city.
Can a remote CPA represent us to the CRA? Yes. As a CPA, Ozgur Duymaz can act as your authorized representative with the CRA regardless of where you are based, handling reviews, queries, and reassessments on your behalf. Because he is a native Turkish speaker, we can explain exactly what the CRA is asking and what we are filing in Turkish — all of it handled remotely from our Edmonton head office.
When does an Ontario lender want a review engagement? Toronto lenders often ask for a review engagement before extending or renewing credit — it provides limited assurance through inquiry and analytical procedures. A compilation (Notice to Reader) gives no assurance and suits internal use and tax filing. As a CPA, Ozgur Duymaz determines which level fits and performs it to professional standards, remotely. See our review and compilation engagements service.
Can we work with you in Turkish for a Toronto business? Yes. We serve Toronto remotely from our Edmonton head office — there is no Toronto office — and founder Ozgur Duymaz is a native Turkish speaker, so engagements can run in Turkish, English, or both. The professional work is prepared to Canadian CPA standards whichever language we speak in; the Turkish option removes the translation gap on credential-grade work.
